Getting There

I am finally in Iraq, and at my duty location, but I thought I would put some pictures of Qatar (a country I got stuck in for 7 days). This is the pool (right), and yes that is a Dairy Queen at the end of the pool. Some people call this a Combat Deployment! Me getting ready for bed (Bottom), we slept in an Alaskan shelter with 45 bunks.

This is where I would make my calls from on the SAT Phone, and this is about the time I would make them.

This is what this place looks like in the day time, No plant life to be found, Not even Grass!

I leave in just over a day, and I wanted to say good bye, or better yet "See ya all later." I hope to keep putting things up here for all of you to see.
